Alliant Retirement Consulting, a division of Alliant Insurance Services, has announced that Senior Vice President Aaron Pottichen has been named a 2019 “Young Gun” by the National Association of Plan Advisors (NAPA). The prestigious list recognizes the top plan advisors under 40 years of age and spans a national field of honorees. NAPA is an affiliate of the American Retirement Association.
“Aaron, with his continuous focus on service, accuracy, and results, is among the nation’s leading young retirement consultants,” said Kevin Overbey, Senior Executive Vice President and Senior Managing Director, Alliant Employee Benefits. “His inclusion on this list is indicative of Alliant’s continued focus on employing dynamic young professionals who always place their clients’ needs at the forefront.”
Established in 2014, the Young Guns list is based on applications received from nominees designated by NAPA broker-dealer/RIA firm partners. The applications are vetted by a blue ribbon panel of senior advisor industry experts based on a combination of quantitative and qualitative data submitted by the nominees, as well as a broker-check review, and voted on by thousands in the retirement plan industry. The 2019 field included more than 500 nominations.
This is the second such honor for Pottichen in recent months. In October 2018, he was named to the Financial Times 401 Top Retirement Plan Advisers list along with Alliant Retirement Solutions colleagues Sean Waggoner, Jay Laschinger, and John Cunningham.
