Hub International Ltd. has acquired the assets of Virginia-based Bob Gottschling’s book of business.
Hub International did not disclose terms of the transaction.
Hub Retirement and Private Wealth President Joe DeNoyior said in a statement the deal expands the company’s geographic footprint. “We are super excited to have Bob join us in the Mid-Atlantic region with his extensive background in comprehensive financial planning,” he said.
The company said it remains committed to growing both organically and through acquisitions.
Hub International Ltd’s Specialty Program Group LLC said last year it had acquired managing general agent Euclid Specialty Managers LLC.
The MGA specializes in fiduciary liability and related professional liability insurance for employee benefit plans and is knows as Euclid Fiduciary. It has underwriting and claims authority from Hudson Insurance Group and was acquired from Euclid Insurance Services Inc.
Hub International was the fifth-largest global broker based on $3.77 billion in total revenue in 2022.
Among the firm’s insurance brokering and financial services offerings are risk management, insurance, employee benefits, retirement and wealth management.
