Commercial brokers and agents as well as risk managers selected Chubb as a top insurer when it comes to claims handling satisfaction in North America for property, management and professional liability, cyber and primary casualty coverages, according to the recently released Advisen Claims Satisfaction Survey. Advisen is an industry-leading provider of insurance data, media and technology solutions for the commercial property and casualty market.
The survey represents businesses from a variety of industries and of all sizes and is weighted slightly more toward large companies (greater than $1 billion in revenue) than small companies (less than $1 billion in revenue). Survey respondents’ evaluations were based on the following distinct criteria: good communication, flexibility in dealing with complex/contentious issues, equitable settlements, expertise, and accessibility.
“Providing an exceptional claims experience is foundational to the way Chubb operates,” said Mike Smith, Chubb’s Global Claims Officer. “We are honored by this recognition by brokers and clients, as it validates our efforts to continually improve the claims experience for our clients.”
In addition, Chubb was the only carrier to be ranked number one in more than one category. The company also placed in the top three in every business category, with the number one placement in five out of eight categories surveyed by brokers, agents and risk managers.
