Inszone buys High Desert Insurance

Inszone Insurance Services, a rapidly growing, national provider of benefits, personal and commercial lines insurance, announced today the acquisition of Cameo Insurance Services Inc.

Tyrone Smith founded Cameo Insurance Services in Inglewood, California in 1992. The company’s main goal was to provide tailored insurance plans that met the needs of each of its clients at costs they could afford. Over time, Cameo Insurance Services Inc. became more known for their excellence in providing home and auto insurance.

Tyrone Smith, the former owner of Cameo Insurance, explains how he got into personal lines: “I got into it through a phone call from a friend who asked me to come down because he was looking for a salesperson. He got me started into it and I gradually got out of the other markets I was selling in and when he retired, I started my own business, Cameo Insurance.”

Since 1992, Cameo Insurance Services has provided thousands of insureds with exceptional customer care while saving them thousands of dollars. This level of service will continue under the Inszone Insurance brand.

“Tyrone has been providing great customer service to his clients and we look forward to continuing that service while providing a multitude of additional resources,” says Chris Walters, CEO of Inszone Insurance Services. “Cameo Insurance marks the 33rd acquisition in our home state of California and we are pleased to see the continued growth.”

Inszone Insurance is expected to announce a number of important acquisitions in the upcoming months as it continues to build its national presence.
