Marsh, the world’s leading insurance broker and risk adviser, in collaboration with Zurich North America, announces the launch of TrustedPals, a next generation pet insurance program for the more than 183 million cats and dogs in the United States.
TrustedPals offers comprehensive pet insurance with flexible co-payments, limits, and deductibles to meet different budgets. Backed by Marsh’s Bluestream platform, consumers can quickly obtain quotes, purchase insurance, and report claims. Over time, other unique features will include annual rewards for pets with no claims and a real-time lost pet finding service. A self-service feature driven by artificial intelligence will soon be added to assist pet owners in managing their pet insurance needs.
“Our pets are family members and as owners we want the best insurance coverage available to protect their health and wellbeing,” said Kevin Tobin, President and CEO of Marsh’s Insurance Services Group. “With TrustedPals, we are making it easy to purchase comprehensive, affordable pet insurance benefits that put the needs of pets first.”
Marsh also announced that it will donate 1% of profits from TrustedPals to organizations that help abandoned pets after a natural disaster.
TrustedPals is underwritten by Zurich North America, and is available directly to individual pet owners at TrustedPals.com, via the affinity marketplace, and through employer-sponsored voluntary benefit programs brokered by Mercer, a global consulting leader in advancing health, wealth and career and sister company of Marsh.
“As a leader in insurance program development in the United States, being part of TrustedPals is the right choice for Zurich,” said Greg Massey, head of Programs for Zurich North America. “Both Zurich and Marsh have a strong commitment to innovation and a proven track record of creating solutions for our customers.”
